Interested in art? The Kadoya Gallery curatorial internship provides an introduction to the world of art, professional museum practices, and numerous aspects of researching, planning, and mounting museum exhibitions. The internships are an excellent resource for students considering a museum profession. The opportunity is open to any motivated individual but might appeal particularly to undergraduate students in Museum Studies, Art History, Studio Art, Design, Architecture, and CHID programs who have completed––with demonstrable success––at least one year of academic work.
Generally, curatorial internships are offered each year, keyed to the Colorado State University Pueblo academic system. Internships are unpaid and require a minimum commitment of 12 hours per week.
Duties focus on the following areas:
Academic credit may be available and remains the responsibility of the student.
Graduate students interested in opportunities at the Kadoya Gallery should contact the curatorial department for information on in-depth research and practicum availability.
